Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, applications, and car-rental services provided by THE ADDRESS UNITED (“the Company”). By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the principles of Islamic Sharia.
1.Eligibility & Driver Requirements
The renter must be at least 21 years of age (25 for premium and luxury categories) and hold a valid Saudi driving licence, GCC licence, or an international driving permit accepted in the Kingdom. A valid national ID (for citizens) or Iqama/passport (for residents and visitors) is required. The Company reserves the right to verify identity and eligibility before releasing any vehicle.
2.Bookings, Rates & Payment
All rates are displayed in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) unless stated otherwise; applicable VAT is added in accordance with the regulations of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority. Payment may be required in full or as a deposit at the time of booking. A security deposit or pre-authorisation may be held against the payment method on file and released after the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition.
3.Use of the Vehicle
- The vehicle may be driven only by the renter and any additional driver approved in writing by the Company.
- The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful purpose, to carry passengers or goods for hire outside the agreed terms, in motorsport, or off approved roads.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics is strictly prohibited and is an offence under the laws of the Kingdom.
- The vehicle may not be taken outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia without prior written approval.
4.Traffic Violations & Fines
The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, tolls (including Salik/Fasah where applicable), and administrative penalties incurred during the rental period, together with any related service charge. Such amounts may be charged to the payment method on file.
5.Insurance & Liability
Vehicles are covered by insurance as required by Saudi law. The renter remains liable, up to the applicable excess/deductible, for damage, loss, or theft, and for the full amount where a loss results from a breach of these Terms (for example, unauthorised use or driving under the influence). Optional protection products may be offered to reduce the excess.
6.Cancellation & Amendments
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup unless a non-refundable rate was selected. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a charge as disclosed at the time of booking. Amendments are subject to availability and any difference in rate.
7.Return & Fuel
The vehicle must be returned to the agreed branch at the agreed time, with the same fuel level as at pickup. Late returns, fuel shortfalls, extra mileage beyond the included allowance, and excessive cleaning may incur additional charges disclosed in your rental agreement.
8.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
